Just simply an awesome figural by Billy Ray Hussey and probably dates circa 1990. A BRH lion normally only comes in his standard 'standing & smiling' form. And Billy loves to make figurals doing things, but not lions typically. This one is playing with a ball, and I think that is so unique for him. And it has this wonderful wood-fired lead 'rainbow of green hues' glaze. Very unique color scheme. Nice large mane on the lion. This lion is a bit more standard size, at 7″ length by 5″ height. $20 s/i.
