Potter Matt Hallyburton has had access recently to the Rhodes Clay pit and has been turning some 100% Rhodes Clay pots. This jug was fired about 2 years ago. It is simply an amazing traditional Catawba Valley drippy dark alkaline glaze piece of utilitarianware. Matt further enhanced the jug with glass applied to the handles, creating more drippy effect along with touches of blue around the edges of the glass runs. The jug stands 12″ by 8″ max width.
