Nathaniel Hewell is a potter of the multiple generations of Hewell family members that has worked at one of the most impressive active pottery operations going today. Much of the Hewell Family pottery is greenware made for sale to shops like Lowe's Hardware, but occasionally they delve into the traditional wood-fired folk forms. Nathaniel is the son of Chester and grandson of the recently passed Harold Hewell (spring 2013). This face jug is particularly nice with eye-appealing glass runs. Signed & dated 1999.
