Stacy Lambert Pottery Painted Face Jug

Stacy Lambert Pottery Painted Face Jug

This is a rare father/daughter painted face jug that fuses Stacy Lambert and his daughter's Nadine Lambert artistry. The scene takes place in a prairie as a young boy and a young girl run around catching raindrops with their tongues. Beside them, there is a dog with the following story: “The dog was not amused by the catching of raindrops on the tongue. He only wanted to go in his food dish and sit quietly thinking of the meaning of life.” Also please note how the face jug shares characteristics with the painted scene. For example, the running boy shares his eye with the face jug's eye (aka a face-within-in-face). The handle has Stacy's candy cane alternating red and white pattern. The jug stands 7.75″ tall by 6″ max width. Signed by the family & dated 12-20-2013 on the base. Mint condition. $15 s/i.
