Sanford, NC.  This is a phenomenal piece of folk pottery.  Perfect form, as A.V. is really a master of symmetry.  The only reason that the ring jug is infinitesimally tipped to the side, is that because where the snake is applied.  The firing is perfect with this alkaline glaze.  I am confident this is wood-fired.  The snake is menacing no doubt, but artistic of the highest folk level.  Plus there is a touch of glass for decoration.  The piece stands 13″ tall by 10″ max width.  Mint condition.  $30 s/i
