Clint Alderman Hen and Chicks figural Set, turned/fired by Clint at his Hartwell shop in 2008. This is a pretty uncommon form for Clint, in the sitting hen, and very uncommon for him to make minis. The set is very neat, but the chicks truly make the set. The minis are so lifelike and adorable. Nice even firing of the alkaline with a drippy glaze seen particularly well on the hen. Incredible feather detail by Clint. The hen 'stands' 11.5″ tall with a max width of 10″. The two chicks are each very distinct, signed CA and they each stand 3.5″ tall. All mint condition. $30 s/i.
