NC Pottery presents this marbled/mottled texture glaze jug, circa 2000 or prior by potter Dwayne Craig of the Catawba Valley. Craig neatly mixed a dark teal and brown color scheme and neatly incised a sinuous pattern. This appears to be created by Dwayne employing the standard glass glaze of Craigs and applying the cobalt in some version of brushstroke. Light as feather turning as is classic to Dwayne. He & his father, potter Don Craig, have recently retired from making pottery. They bought a car detailing shop in the CV, hence starting a new chapter in their lives, but leaving an illustrious montage of pottery forms and styles unique to them. stands 6″ height by 5″ max width.
