NC Piedmont Salt Glaze Ring Jug

NCPottery.com is offering this superb NC salt glazed ring jug. It has a lot of character and some legit orange peel or fly ash in places. Also one can see the feldspar (aka quartz) in the clay, plus some other kiln tiny bits here & there stuck to the body. This is definitely from the NC Piedmont area (Moore/Randolph Co), possibly coming from the Craven or Hancock shops, ca 1880-1900. The measurements are 8.25″ height by 1.75″ max width. Basically mint condition. It has two glaze flakes on the inside of the jug lip, one of them pin-sized & the other 1/16″ of an inch located on the outside of the jug lip. $15 s/i.
