Nola Campbell (1918-2009) was a famed Master Potter of Catawba Indian Nation. She began signing pots in the late 1970′s and earlier worked in the Cherokee Trade. She was the sister of twin potters Reola Harris & Viola Robbins. Her son Edwin Campbell also made mini pots for a short period in the mid-1990's. Nola's mentor was Georgia Harris, a legendary name amongst the Catawba Nation members and collectors. Nola's works are rare and she would make larger pots at times. This fine Rebecca pitcher was obtained directly from the family about a decade ago. The burnishing is particularly and the condition mint. The piece was created by Nola in 1997. And stands 4.75″ tall. $12 s/i.
