This is a phenomenal piece of folk pottery by potter Billy Ray Hussey, circa mid-1990’s, is truly unique and interesting form. Each double-joined snake has an accompanying bowl. The snakes are dark, almost black. Each individual snake has finely incised details, with careful attention to its eyes and its scales. The bowls are iridescent, with tinges of green hues. The rungs are fluted. On the base, the pieces are marked with the following inscriptions BH & XXIII. The double-joined snake and bowls figurine stands 7.25″ tall by 3.5″ max width.
