Here is a Chad Smith wood-fired mini face jug circa 2011/2. NCPottery.com has long supported Chad in his work. Chad nearly sold out at 2014 Hickory Fest (otherwise known as the Catawba Valley Pottery & Antiques Festival). This face jug is a fine example of how a potter can apply detail on a small scale. This jug and face application likely took a similar amount of time as a 1 G face jug for Chad. Great dark ash/alkaline drippy glaze. The jug stands 4″ tall by 4″ max width.
