Offering a carefully crafted Warren Sanders Catawba India Bear pipe. Warren is one of the Catawba Indian Master Potters based at the Catawba Nation near Rock Hill, SC. An inscribed crawling bear descends as it wraps around the pipe. This pipe is considered made for the collecting market, but is perfectly functional as a pipe too. Coil-formed and pit-fired as traditionally made. The pipe stands 2.5” in height by 2.5” max width. Signed by Warren and dated 1-08-01. Mint condition.
