Warren Sanders Catawba Indian Master Potter Turtle Pipe

This is a nice Catawba Indian turtle pipe circa 2006. The turtle is in resting mode. Its shell is finely patterned. Warren B. Sanders transformed the turtle’s tail into mouthpiece, where the person’s exhaled smoke starts and eventually escapes into the turtle’s outer shell. Regarding its firing, the turtle is wooden-fired; the black and browns give its Catawba Valley’s signature characteristics. Written on the bottom is “Warren B., 3-1-06, Catawba.” The turtle pipe stands 1.25” by 3.5” max width. Mint condition.
